Dear Supporters of Shalom Retreat Center,
Following in the footsteps of Sr. Marie Therese Kalb OSF who sparked Shalom Retreat Center into existence from 1989–2000 and Sr. Margaret Jungers OSF who directed Shalom for ten years, I am continuing this valued retreat ministry.
Because of you, we are able to provide a variety of programs and enriching presenters. Over 300 groups have used our facility in the current year. We offer programs for those who look for deeper spiritual enrichment and direction in life, those who grieve a loved one, those who experience a transition in their life as a result of separation/divorce, and much more. Many express how much they appreciate Shalom.
To offer our fine spiritual programs and retreats for you entails a safe and comfortable environment. We need your financial assistance in the maintenance and upkeep of the building / grounds and our resources.
You have supported Shalom in the past and we again are asking for your support. Your contribution will help us sustain our retreat ministry.
We are grateful for your financial assistance to us. In the spirit of the Gospel, St. Francis of Assisi says, “For it is in giving that we receive.” At Thanksgiving and throughout the year,
we, as a Shalom staff, pray weekly for our benefactors.
